CLOSET BALL

Closet Ball is the second pageant of each reign, and is held in September.  This pageant features contestants who have not done drag and are sponsored by a seasoned drag king or drag queen.  They are presented as their true gender identity and then the sponsor has one hour to transform them into a drag persona.  Winning titleholders will spend their year holding a minimum of two functions to raise money for the community.

During Reign 48 it was descided to discontinue our Closet Ball Pageant. Although we will not have any new titleholders of this pageant, we will continue to
honor the past titleholders listed below and their great accomplishments to the RCGSE.
